How do I know when my baby is ready for solid food?

If your baby was feeding and sleeping well, and suddenly becomes wakeful at night, or earlier during the day, and needs a feed to settle again and is more than 17 weeks of age, weighing in the region of 7 kgs or more, this is generally an indication that solids may be necessary.

So, congratulations at having reached this important phase of your baby’s growth and development..

it’s time to move to the next exciting phase – Starting Solids!
